Renewable Scholarships
Only applicable to high school seniors who were awarded a renewable scholarship.
HS graduating class of 2024!
If you were awarded a Renewable Scholarship from us during your senior year of high school, this applies to you.
Renewable scholarships require annual follow ups each year for the length of your scholarship (i.e. 4 years.) Follow ups can be completed through your SLM Portal.
After your first award you will be required to do a follow up form that will allow us to send your allotted scholarship to your college/institution. The following year, between April 15 - June 1, you will be required to complete a follow up form to receive your next installment of your scholarship. This is required until all installments of your scholarship have been paid out.
Please only complete the follow-up for the current year, future follow ups will be due separately to ensure any school changes or degree changes are noted.
These follow up forms will require your:
- College student I.D.
- The college/institution you are attending
- The name of your renewable scholarship
- Your current degree/major (*please note if it has changed since the original award)
- An upload of your most recent transcripts
Please monitor your email inbox from us to be on top of receiving important information and reminder emails to complete these tasks. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting your scholarship installment for the current year if not submitted in time.
Payments will be sent to your college/institution by mid-July.

HS graduating class of 2022 and 2023 (ONLY)!
You’ve received an email with the following message because you were awarded a renewable high school scholarship with our organization in 2022-2023 through AwardSpring. If you have not received this email, please let us know so we can ensure we have the correct and current email for you. In the meantime, please read and complete the following information and instructions:
(Email): "Your renewable payment will be processed and sent to your current college account when you login to a NEW portal called SLM using the following link: Logon - Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (grantinterface.com) and complete the requirements needed.
The due date for your renewable application is June 1st.
You will need to register as a new user. Your original login for the portal you used to apply originally (AwardSpring) is no longer active.
Once you register in SLM and login, you will click on the “Apply” button at the top of your dashboard. Once you click it, you will see a new prompt at the top of your dashboard asking you for an access code. This code is the word "Renewable".
Once you access that application for renewal, complete the questions (HS graduation year, scholarship name, degree). After you click submit, our team at MCF will review your application. If approved, you will then have a final follow up form assigned to you (college/institution name, student ID, transcripts, and a short essay) and then click submit. The team will review your follow up as well, and if there are any changes that need to be made, you will be notified via email.
Please monitor your email closely during this process to ensure you do not miss deadlines or the opportunity to receive a scholarship.
Please note: if your scholarship was “major specific” ex: nursing scholarship award, then you should still be in a nursing program to receive your money. If you have changed your major AND the scholarship is major specific, then you will not be eligible for a renewal; however you could apply for an Upperclassmen Scholarship with a deadline of June 1st. We will confirm this once your requirements are submitted.
